I do this so that people can feel control strength and flexibility in body and mind becoming the best version of themselves.

I work with people from the ages of 13-90; using supportive and effective communication to help them feel more vibrant and empowered in their daily lives through the use of the Pilates method, health and wholesome/nourishing food.

I teach others to confidentially walk through life being assured that they can handle what comes their way including how to make positive food choices, effectively manage pain, prevent injury, challenge themselves physically and mentally and ultimately love and appreciated the body they have.

I do this so that people can feel control strength and flexibility in body and mind becoming the best version of themselves.

Joseph Pilates developed his fitness program in the early 1900s as a way to combat the stress-related illnesses caused by modern lifestyle. Pilates called it Contrology, which he defined as complete coordination of mind, body and spirit. His unique method is so popular because it strengthens the body without building bulky muscles. The technique is rooted in the development of the core - the deep internal muscles of the abdomen and back. A strong core works with the more superficial trunk muscles to support the spine, thus stabilizing the torso, freeing the body to move efficiently. The resulting mind-body synergy affects the way you move throughout all of your daily physical activities. As Joseph Pilates said, it doesn’t matter what you do. It’s the way you do it.

I teach Pilates using its repertoire of mat exercises and specially designed Pilates equipment. Depending on a client’s needs, I incorporate my years of experience with physical therapy, osteopathy, pre- and post-natal fitness, and the Alexander Technique - a method of reeducating the body to improve balance, and movement habits. Benefits include...

  • Improved Posture

  • Increased & Flexibility

  • Stress Relief

  • Etc.
