Day 2:  No more excuses!

The excuses come up because FEAR sets in.  One of my favorite quotes by Marianne Williamson is
 

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure...”

IS YOUR FEAR HOLDING YOU BACK?  YOU CAN DITCH YOUR DIETING WAYS FOR GOOD WHILE LOOKING AND FEELING INCREDIBLE!  IT IS POSSIBLE, I PROMISE YOU THIS.  DON’T LET THE FAMILIARITY OF DIETING CULTURE (COUNTING CALORIES, RESTRICTION, FOOD OBSESSING, ETC.) CAUSE YOU TO SELF-SABOTAGE.  DIETING IS NOT YOUR FRIEND, THAT WENCH IS JUST TRYING TO KEEP YOU DOWN. 
 
HERE ARE SOME WAYS TO OVERCOME FEAR AND BEAT DOWN THOSE EXCUSES:

  1. REACH OUT FOR HELP – HAVING A COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT YOU IS IMPERATIVE TO SUCCESS IN MAKING A CHANGE.

  2. CELEBRATE THE SMALL SUCCESSES. 

  3. CONSISTENCY IS KEY – INCREMENTAL HABITS THAT YOU MAINTAIN IN YOUR DAILY LIFE WILL CARRY YOU THROUGH.

 
LAYING THE FOUNDATION OF CHANGE IS HARD WORK AND CAN FEEL OVERWHELMING ALONE.  THIS IS WHY HAVING A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY IS SO IMPORTANT.   
 

DAY #2 EXERCISE: 
 
PART 1 – WRITE DOWN THE ONE EXCUSE THAT BUBBLES UP THE MOST IN YOUR LIFE FOR WHY YOU CAN’T MAKE THE TIME TO NOURISH YOURSELF.  
 
PART 2 – WHAT ARE YOU REALLY AFRAID OF?  WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE IF YOU SUCCEEDED IN ACHIEVING THIS NEW, NOURISHING, HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?
